Jordanian Health ministry expresses readiness to provide help to Iraqi Kurdistan
Secretary general of the ministry of health Daifallah Al-Lawzi on Monday voiced the ministry's readiness to place Jordan's health resources in the service of Iraqi Kurdistan, providing the Kurds with the medical expertise they require, as well as cooperating in registering pharmaceuticals and training health care personnel.

During a meeting with the health minister of Iraqi Kurdistan, Rekawt Hama Rashid, Al Lawzi said existing cooperation between Jordan and Iraqi Kurdistan in the health fields is growing steadily.

He pointed out that a health attaché has been dispatched to Iraqi Kurdistan, as well as the opening of an office to facilitate issuing visas and assist Kurds who must reside inJordanfor medical treatment.

Hama Rashid reiterated the enthusiasm of Iraqi Kurdistan to bolster bilateral ties withJordan, especially in the health field.

He pointed out that his visit aims to benefit fromJordan's experience in the management of the health system, control of drugs and food, and the administrative organizational structure ofJordan's health ministry.
