We commemorate the fifty-second anniversary of the March 11 agreement, which was an important achievement of the Kurdistan People's Liberation Movement.

As a result of the insistence and resilience of the people of Kurdistan and the revolution, under the leadership of Mustafa Barzani, the Iraqi regime was forced to recognize, for the first time, the rights of our people on March 11, 1970.

March 11, 1970 is a clear evidence of the success of the revolution and the legitimate will of the Kurdistan people over the denial of the dissidents of the Kurdistan people and their efforts to eradicate our people. The March 11 agreement was the product of the struggles and sacrifices of the Peshmerga, and of all classes, strata, and religious and ethnic groups in Kurdistan.

After the March 11 agreement, the Iraqi regime is constantly trying to break and breach the agreement, but the will of our people to continue their struggle and self-determination persisted, and led to greater gains.

On the anniversary of the March 11 agreement, we emphasize the message of peace and coexistence of the people of Kurdistan, and reaffirm that the will of the people of Kurdistan will not be violated under any circumstances and under any pressure, and that Kurdistan will not be deprived of its freedom and fundamental rights.
