Ammar al-Hakim urges "Al-Sadr" to reverse his decision to withdraw from Iraqi elections
Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance in Iraq, urged on Friday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, to reverse his decision to withdraw from the upcoming elections.
"We urge our brother, His Eminence Muqtada Al-sadir to refrain from his decision to abandon the elections and continue the joint national effort nor depriving the field of an important segment," Ammar Al-Hakim wrote on his Twitter account, stressing that Iraq is going through a turning point that is least described as sensitive and dangerous.
The head of the Iraqi Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, had hinted on Thursday not to participate in the upcoming Iraqi elections.
