As the New Year approaches, Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani delivered a heartfelt message to the people of Kurdistan, Iraq, and the world, extending warm wishes for peace, stability, and prosperity in 2025.

In his address, President Barzani expressed special gratitude to the families of fallen heroes, the Peshmerga forces, security personnel, and the region's diverse communities. Highlighting the importance of resilience in the face of regional and global challenges, he called for unity and collaborative efforts to address pressing issues and seize emerging opportunities.

Reflecting on 2024, President Barzani noted significant political and security transformations across the region. He emphasized the necessity for introspection and reinforced unity to confront threats to stability while advocating for swift progress in forming a new cabinet for the Kurdistan Regional Government.
