Prime Minister Masrur Barzani issued a statement on Monday evening, May 25, 2020, in commemoration of the Gulan Revolution. In his message, Prime Minister Barzani said in a statement that the unity and solidarity of the people of Kurdistan can be overcome by all circumstances.

The statement of the Prime Minister Masrur Barzani is as follows:

On the 44th anniversary of the Gulan Revolution, I congratulate the people of Kurdistan and all the participants in the revolution and, with great respect and admiration, congratulate the heroic Peshmerga who continued to work and fight for the legitimate rights of the people of Kurdistan.

The Gulan Revolution, which lasted until the end of the Aylul Revolution, resulted in the cooperation and unity of all parties in Kurdistan and its constituents.

The Gulan Revolution underscored the fact that the will of our people is stronger than any other plan, and that with the unity and solidarity of the people of Kurdistan, they can overcome all difficult situations. It is necessary to serve the nation from this situation now, with a Peshmerga spirit and with unity and integrity, and in this way they can overcome all obstacles and difficulties.
