The Kurdistan Region and Iraq hosted the International Health Exhibition (Medico) in Erbil, marking the largest event of its kind under the slogan "See the Future of Health."

The exhibition was held under the direct supervision of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Ministry of Health, with participation from the Iraqi Ministry of Health, international health organizations, consulates, and key governmental representatives in the health sector.

With over 150 local and international companies from 10 countries, the exhibition attracted more than 40,000 visitors from Kurdistan, Iraq, and beyond. Additionally, more than 5,000 attendees from India, Turkey, Iran, Jordan, China, Portugal, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Hungary took part in the event.

Spanning four consecutive days, the exhibition showcased the latest advancements in medical devices and healthcare technologies. It also served as a platform for knowledge exchange, investment opportunities, and job creation, contributing to the overall development of the health sector in Kurdistan and Iraq.

Officials emphasized the exhibition’s role in strengthening international cooperation, fostering innovation, and enhancing healthcare services in the region. The event highlighted Kurdistan’s growing presence as a hub for medical advancements and healthcare investment in the Middle East.
