In a meeting held on Monday with Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) cadres in Erbil, Masrour Barzani, Vice President of the KDP, reaffirmed the party's critical role in preserving Kurdistan's peace and constitutional order while calling for continued reforms and development initiatives.

The gathering included officials from various KDP branches, along with members of the Political Bureau, Central Committee, and the party's executive committee.

Barzani reiterated the KDP's long-standing commitment as a "responsible party and true representative of the legitimate cause of the Kurdish people." He emphasized that under the leadership of President Masoud Barzani, the KDP has consistently played a pivotal role in protecting Kurdistan and maintaining regional stability.

Highlighting the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) dedication to constitutional safeguards, Barzani assured that ongoing reforms would remain central to the region's development agenda. He called on KDP members to recognize the "great responsibility" they hold in contributing to a strong, stable, and service-oriented governance system.

Barzani stressed the party’s reliance on public support, urging cadres to uphold the trust placed in them by the Kurdish people through democratic processes. He concluded by underscoring the KDP's crucial role in ensuring peace and social stability, noting that the strength of the party is directly linked to the strength and security of Kurdistan.
