President Nechirvan Barzani welcomed Klaus Streicher, the former Consul General of Germany in the Kurdistan Region, along with Albrecht von Wittke, the new Consul General.

The President stated, "The people of Kurdistan are the ones who are important in these elections, and it is crucial for everyone to ensure that they are conducted in a peaceful environment.
