Duhok Governor Ali Tatar announced today that Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has approved a series of significant reconstruction projects for the Amedi district. These initiatives are aimed at facilitating the return of displaced residents and stabilizing the region, which has been affected by ongoing conflict.

Governor Tatar confirmed that the Prime Minister's approval paves the way for the prompt initiation of these projects. "The Prime Minister has given the green light for several projects in Amedi, and we are in the final stages of preparing for their implementation," Tatar stated. He emphasized that despite any potential challenges or complications, the reconstruction efforts will proceed.

The governor also expressed optimism about the improvements these projects will bring to the region. "We are confident that these efforts will lead to better achievements, projects, and services for the area. We are committed to compensating the 130 individuals who have been impacted by the conflict," Tatar added. "It is our responsibility to provide support to those affected. We hope that the ongoing violence, which has hindered regional development, will soon come to an end."

Highlighting the importance of the initiatives, Tatar noted President Barzani's strong commitment to the region's recovery. He pointed out that several developmental projects have already reached Amedi, thanks to the Prime Minister's visit, and are now benefiting local residents.
