President Nechirvan Barzani held a meeting with Mr. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in Tehran on Wednesday afternoon.

The discussions centered on the relationship between Iran, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region, as well as recent developments in these areas and the broader region. Both parties shared their perspectives on the latest regional developments.

They also emphasized the significance of enhancing ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq as well as the Kurdistan Region across various sectors. Both sides viewed collaborative efforts in the region as essential for upholding stability and peace.

The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Vice President of the Kurdistan Region; Rebar Ahmad, Kurdistan Regional Government Minister of Interior; and Fawzi Hariri, Chief of Staff of the Kurdistan Region Presidency.
