Prime Minister Masrour Barzani to Inaugurate Ba'adre-Etit Road and Lay Foundation for Duhok Parks

In a series of high-profile development initiatives, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani is set to visit Ba'adre to lay the foundation stone for the Ba'adre-Etit road. The ceremony will take place at 2:30 PM today, marking a significant step in enhancing the infrastructure of the Sheikhan district in Duhok province. Ba'adre, a sub-district comprising 13 villages and home to over 24,000 predominantly Yezidi Kurds, stands to benefit greatly from this new road project.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Barzani also laid the foundation stones for two major parks in Duhok, underscoring the Kurdistan Regional Government's commitment to urban development and environmental health. The new parks, named "Aloka" and "Serhildan," are located in the Baroshke neighborhood of Duhok city. The projects represent a substantial investment in the region's urban landscape, with the total cost nearing 132 billion dinars.

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Barzani expressed his pleasure at returning to Duhok for this important occasion. He emphasized the government’s dedication to beautifying urban areas and promoting healthier living environments. "This indicates our dedication to making our cities more beautiful and healthier," he stated.

The establishment of these parks is part of a broader initiative to enhance public spaces and provide recreational areas for the residents of Duhok. The Prime Minister highlighted that the new parks would offer extensive services and leisure opportunities, aiming to become popular spots for the community's enjoyment.

These projects follow similar urban development initiatives recently inaugurated in the Soran region, reflecting the government's ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life across the Kurdistan Region.

With the foundation of the Ba'adre-Etit road and the new parks in Duhok, the Kurdistan Regional Government continues to make significant strides in infrastructure and urban beautification, reinforcing its commitment to the well-being and prosperity of its citizens.
