On 28 February 2024, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, held discussions in Washington D.C. with Congressman Don Bacon, a notable member of the United States House Committee on Armed Services and co-chair of the Kurdish Support Group in Congress.
