On Monday, President Masoud Barzani, leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), met with Ayad Allawi, the head of the Iraqi National Coalition, along with his accompanying delegation, to discuss pressing political and security issues in Iraq and the broader region.

According to a statement from Barzani's office, the discussions highlighted the latest regional developments and the ongoing challenges threatening Iraq’s stability. The two leaders emphasized the need for collaboration to address these issues effectively and ensure a unified approach to safeguarding Iraq’s security and political landscape.

Later the same day, Barzani received a delegation from the United Coalition of Anbar, led by Qassim al-Fahdawi. This meeting focused on Iraq's political situation and ways to enhance coordination among Iraqi political parties to maintain stability across the country.

Both meetings underscored the importance of fostering cooperation among Iraq’s diverse political groups to navigate the current challenges and build a stable and secure future.
