President Nechirvan Barzani met with the Foreign Minister of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani at the Munich Security Conference in Germany.

The discussion focused on the various challenges to peace and stability in the Middle East, particularly in light of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Both parties emphasized the importance of enhancing collaborative efforts at both regional and international levels to uphold stability.

Additionally, they both expressed a mutual interest in strengthening the ties between Bahrain, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region, as well as expanding cooperation across various sectors. They highlighted the potential opportunities for collaboration and growth between the two nations.

The meeting also addressed the current situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, along with the persistent threat of terrorism in the region.
