Continuing his meetings at the Munich Security Conference, President Nechirvan Barzani met with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, in Germany today.

The two sides exchanged views on the latest security developments in the region, the war in Gaza, the conflicts in the Middle East and their potential ramifications. They also highlighted the importance of the countries in the region working together to maintain peace and stability.

The meeting also addressed Qatar’s cooperation with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in countering terrorism and addressing security challenges, alongside other matters of mutual interest.
