President Nechirvan Barzani gave promotions to five senior officers of the Peshmerga Ministry on Wednesday. The officers were promoted to the ranks of Major General and Brigadier General after signing their orders, in a ceremony held at the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region.

In his address, the President extended his congratulations and well wishes to them, emphasizing the significance of carrying out the reform process successfully and of unifying the Peshmerga brigades under the Ministry of Peshmerga.

President Nechirvan Barzani underlined the high regard for the Peshmerga, underlining that the Peshmerga’s foremost allegiance and loyalty must be to the nation and the people. He urged swift and concerted measures to unite the Peshmerga, deeming it imperative, and expressed his resolute support for this endeavor.

In response, the officials of the Peshmerga Ministry expressed their gratitude to President Nechirvan Barzani, acknowledging his dedication to the Peshmerga. They reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty and commitment to serving the nation.
