President Nechirvan Barzani held a meeting with the UK Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Stephen Hitchen, on Wednesday afternoon. Their discussion covered relations between the UK and Iraq, as well as the Kurdistan Region. They also spoke about the recent attack on Erbil and the ongoing Erbil-Baghdad talks to address the outstanding issues and find a suitable solution.

Additionally, they viewed positively the progress made in the dialogue between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Federal Government, and they expressed their hopes for a resolution to the issues based on a shared understanding.
