President Nechirvan Barzani met with Secretary General Abdul Sadeh Al-Freji of the Alnahj National Alliance in Baghdad on Sunday evening. The focus of their discussion was on the current political and security situation in Iraq.

During their meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining stability in Iraq, both politically and in terms of security. They agreed that any escalation in the security situation, including drone attacks targeting the Kurdistan Region, would not yield any positive outcomes for Iraq as a whole.

In relation to the ongoing issues between Erbil and Baghdad, they reiterated their support for dialogue between the two sides. They also emphasized the need for a resolution to these issues, including the recognition of the financial entitlements of the Kurdistan Region.
