Iran and Iraq Emphasize Importance of Security Agreement
In a high-level meeting held in Tehran on Sunday, Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, and Iraqi National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji underscored the critical importance of fully implementing a security agreement between their two nations. The meeting, which covered various bilateral matters, highlighted the significant strides both countries have taken in recent months to enhance their mutual security and cooperation.

Accompanying the Iraqi delegation, Kurdistan Region Interior Minister Rebar Ahmad also participated in the discussions, representing Erbil. This high-level visit to Tehran demonstrates the ongoing diplomatic efforts by both Iran and Iraq to enhance their cooperation and ensure the security of their borders and the broader region.
