Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has sent a condolence message to the family of the late Kurdish artist Bitoujan, who passed away yesterday at the age of 68 in Sweden after battling an illness.

In his condolence message, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani expressed his deep sorrow and grief, saying, "With profound sadness, I have received the news of the passing of the renowned Kurdish artist Bitoujan."

He added, "The late Bitoujan was a national and talented artist who contributed significantly to Kurdish art and music. I extend my condolences to his family and pray that God grants him mercy and places him in the highest ranks of paradise. May his family find strength and solace in these difficult times."
