As part of his engagements at the Davos Economic Forum, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Masrour Barzani held a significant meeting with France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, on Thursday.

Prime Minister Barzani emphasized that the KRG has fulfilled all its constitutional duties and obligations, calling for an end to the violations of the rights of the Kurdish people. He urged the federal government to respect the constitutional status of the Kurdistan Region and to expedite the payment of salaries and financial entitlements for the citizens.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on the latest developments in Syria and the broader Middle East region, reflecting shared concerns and the importance of collaboration in addressing regional challenges.
