In a violent escalation between the Organization of Kurdistan Toilers and Komala Party, two fighters were killed and one severely wounded during clashes that broke out in Zirgwez camp near Sulaymaniyah. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning, according to local sources.

The deceased individuals, identified as Saman Ibrahimi and Hiwa Sadiqi, were associated with the Organization of Kurdistan Toilers, while Kawa Rahimi sustained severe injuries. Party officials have confirmed that Komala fighters initiated the attack.

The two political parties were previously united but split nearly 17 years ago. A brief reunion occurred in August of last year, which subsequently resulted in another division due to unresolved disputes between the factions.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the clashes as tensions remain high within the region.
