Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has received a letter from Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, confirming the strong relationship between the countries, particularly in the field of agricultural development.

The Dutch Prime Minister stressed that his country fully supports the economic diversification agenda of the Kurdistan Region, specifically in the agricultural sector.

In the letter, PM Rutte expressed his readiness to develop bilateral relations with the KRG, including trade exchanges, knowledge and expertise sharing, and participation in training courses and programs.

This announcement comes as the Kurdish region boasts its first-ever local pomegranate export and launches media campaigns promoting other locally grown produce.
