Kurdistan Region's Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani, has approved the allocation of approximately 15 billion Iraqi dinars to Sulaymaniyah province, according to a statement, released in Kurdish language, from the media office of the Council of Ministers.

The allocated amount of 14.975 billion dinars will be directed towards the Sulaymaniyah municipality for the purpose of garbage collection and transportation.

This spending is in line with the ninth ministerial formation's focus on serving the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and considering the public interest in the provinces and independent administrations in Kurdistan.

The statement from the media office of the Prime Minister also noted that the allocated amount for Sulaymaniyah will be spent within a period of no less than one year.

The move demonstrates the government's commitment to investing in essential public services for the benefit of the people of Sulaymaniyah province.
