Continuing his meetings in Baghdad today, President Nechirvan Barzani met with Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim, the leader of the National Wisdom Movement.

At the meeting, they discussed the political developments in the country, the ongoing talks between Erbil and Baghdad, and the latest agreement between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Government of Iraq to resume the export of oil.

Both sides emphasized the importance of negotiations and agreements between Erbil and Baghdad to solve their pending differences and other issues in the country. They also emphasized the importance of implementing the government’s agenda and supporting the parties to pass the budget law in the Council of Representatives.

Discussions also covered the bilateral relations of Iraq with neighboring countries and the developments of the wider region.
