The President of the Kurdistan Region congratulated the Yezidis on the occasion of the Summer Day in a tweet on Monday and he said, "I heartily congratulate the Yezidi brothers and sisters in Kurdistan and all over the world on the occasion of the Çileya Havînê Feast."

On Monday, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, posted a message of congratulations to the Yezidi Kurds on his Twitter account.

“I hope you have a pleasant and peaceful holiday and that the upcoming holidays and memories will return in better times and conditions. Every year with grace and kindness. Greetings to the families and relatives of the Yezidi victims,” Nechirvan Barzani added.

The Çileya Havînê Feast is a major holiday for Yezidi Kurds and is celebrated every year with special ceremonies at the Lalish Temple. Yezidi Kurds are visiting South Kurdistan from abroad and parts of Kurdistan to take part in the festival.

During the ceremony, prayers are performed and the singer sings religious songs with the sound of drums and trumpets.

Yezidi Kurds gather at the Lalish Temple every year on the occasion of the Çileya Havînê Feast and hold their religious ceremonies.
