President Barzani Receives Dutch Ambassador to Iraq
President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, received the newly appointed Dutch ambassador to Iraq in Erbil on Sunday, August 25.

In the meeting, they both discussed the bilateral relations between Kurdistan Region and Dutch governments and ways to further develop the economic and political ties.

The Dutch ambassador expressed her happiness to lunch work and said that Dutch Foreign Minister will visit Kurdistan in a bid to further improve bilateral relations between KRG and Dutch governments.

President Barzani hoped that bilateral relations between both sides further improve. President Barzani also said that providing aids to Syrian-Kurdish refugees is a humanitarian and national duty, slamming the international community for not giving necessary aid to refugees living in Kurdistan Region camps.

They also discussed the recent political developments in Kurdistan and Iraq.

The upcoming Kurdish National Congress was another pivot of the meeting. President Barzani said that the congress will send messages of peace and coexistence to the neighboring nations.
