Terrorist gunmen had assassinated an Army officer in the city of Kirkuk, anther terrorist group today targeted Kirkuk’s police officer’s car in his way back from a security mission, official said.

On Tuesday July 17, 2013, terrorist gunmen reportedly had attacked Army officer and opened fire on him which resulted in killing him immediately.

Security sources also reported a terrorist attack on Sarhad Qadir, Police officer in Kirkuk. Source added that an explosive device was planted in the road while Kirkuk’s police officer and his team were back from another security mission.

No material or human lost had been reported.

Sarhad Qadir was frequently targeted by terrorist groups in the past.
