In a statement released on July 10, 2013, Kurdistan Regional Government’s official spokesman Omid Sabah announced that KRG will officially announce President Barzani’s position on Kurdistan presidency term extension and other drafts, rejected local Medias recent claim, which said Barzani will announce his stance in an essay.

Omid Sabah called the recent claim by local Medias on President Barzani’s plan to write an essay and announce his stance as false and misleading information.

“President Barzani’s stance on term extension and other drafts by Kurdistan Parliament will be announced through KRG’s official statement” Sabah concluded.
