Holland to open representative office in Erbil
Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Imad Ahmed, discussed with the Netherlands Minister of Immigration the Netherland's Ambassador to Iraq, means to consolidate bilateral relations and preparations to open a Representation Office in Erbil, as well as the upcoming visit of the Netherland's Foreign Minister to the Region.


Kurdistan Region's Government web site reported on Tuesday, July 9, that in the meeting, Imad Ahmed talked about reconstruction and democratic process in Iraq and the Region, adding the need for foreign know how, where Holland can play an important role in this regards.

He expressed the Region's Government readiness to facilitate the works of foreign diplomatic missions in the Region.

For his part, Netherland's Minister of Immigration said that his country intends to open a Representation Office in the Region as part as the coordination and cooperation process. He also announced an upcoming visit of his country's Foreign Minister to the Region to draw suitable frame for work and Netherland's activities.
