A shipping source said on Saturday that crude oil exports via Kirkuk - Ceyhan pipelines , which extends from Iraq to Turkey is still stopped since June 21 because of a leak.

The pipeline transmitsKirkuk's Iraqi crude to the TurkishportofCeyhanon theMediterranean. The exports usually reach about 300 thousand barrels per day.

It was expected to resume pumping oil into the line on Thursday after the reforms, according to Reuters.

Iraq's exports of crude oil in June have declined for the second month in a row as a result of the delay ofKirkuk's shipments and bad weather in the south of the country.

According to figures the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company "Sumo", exports have declined to 2,328 million barrels per day in June from 2.484 million bpd in May.

In April, exports amounted to 2.62 million barrels per day.

Iraqaims to export 2.9 million barrels per day under the provisions of the country's budget for the current year.

Iraqseeks to double its oil production over the next three years and aims in the long term to pump 12 million barrels per day.
