WAM Kurdistan, July 6th, 2013 (WAM)--Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani, today welcomed the first UAE Consul General in Arbil City, Rashid Mohammed Al Mansouri.

Barzani thanked the UAE leadership and government for upgrading the UAE's diplomatic representation in the region to the Consulate General. He expressed readiness to provide all facilities to help the UAE Consul General discharge his duties, wishing him good stay in Arbil.

During the meeting, Barzani and Al Mansouri exchanged views on how best to promote the joint interests.
