Kurdistan Region Parliament rejects returning budget to government
The Monday regular session will hold further discussions on the draft budget after being postponed yesterday to hold consultations among the parliamentary blocs to reach a formula on how to conduct the remaining discussions on the draft budget.
After viewing returning the budget proposal to the government, 54 MPs voted not to return it while 12 MPs voted to return it to parliament, Shafaq news said.
The Parliament Speaker, Arslan Baeez said during the meeting, that the discussions over the budget and not to returning it to the government would be more discussed on Monday afternoon.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy in Kurdistan Regional Government criticized last Tuesday, what it has called as attack by some partied on the draft budget of the region for the current year 2013.
