29 Jan (Gulan Media) Kurdistan president, Massoud Barzani, has made a statement on his Facebook page asking the government to help those who are affected by the flood and he has expressed his condolence for the victims.

"Sadly, many people have been affected by the heavy rains and floods over the past two days. I express my deep sorrow and support for those people and send my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. I ask all the government institutions to help and support the affected people." The president stated.

He has also expressed his concern over the western Kurdish brothers who are now in the camps in Kurdistan Region, asking both the government, non-government, and the people of Kurdistan to extend their support and help for them as "they are our relatives" and in need.
