The explosions were car bombs targeting KDP headquarters in the centre of Kirkuk. The number of casualties is not yet known, but according to Rudaw Agency the explosions leave 16 dead and 190 injured.

According to NRT the Car bombs exploded in Atlas Street in the centre of the city targeting the head of the police force, Colonel Sarhad Qadir, Kurdistan TV, Zagros TV, and KDP security forces, but the casualties are yet unknown.

According to the agencies, 16 have been killed and 190 injured in the result of explosions, although a reliable data is not yet to be given.
