Erbil protest against the murder of three Kurdish women in Paris
Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Erbil Sunday to demand answers over the deaths of three Kurdish women activists found shot dead Thursday in mysterious circumstances.
The three women, including Sakine Cansiz, a founding member of the PKK, or Kurdish Workers Party, were killed at a Kurdish Centre in Paris and bodies of three activists were found in the Kurdish Media Center on Lafayette Street in Paris and they are ; the head of the center , Fidan Dugan 28 years old , Leila Suellemaz 25 years and Sakine Cansiz 55 years, as she is a founding member of Kurdistan Workers' Party .
Kurdish campaign groups and youth activists called on Kurds to "come to Paris" to protest.
Amnesty International Europe and Central Asia Programme Director John Dalhuisen said in a statement: “There must be justice for these apparently political killings – no stone must be left unturned in the investigation by the French authorities.
