Leader of Kurdish Alliance's Parliamentary bloc, Fouad Masoum, said that he has received reliable information affirming that the health of President Jalal Talabani, in steadily improving, and he is now able to set on a chair in his hospital room.

In a statement to the press on Monday, Masoum said that the President Advisor, Dr. Abdul Lateef Rasheed, has visited the President on Sunday and shock hand with him in a normal manner, he noted that Talabani understood all what he has heard, he responded to conversationalist in the three languages he perfects,Kurdish, Arabic and English.

Masoum added that the medical team overseeing the President's health will move him to a hospital specialized in physiological therapy, to speed up his physical rehabilitation.

Last month, President Talabani suffered from a brain thrombus, he immediately admitted into the Medical City in Baghdad, then move to Germany to complete his treatment there.

Other Kurdish political sources said that Iraqi president Jalal Talabani is "clinically dead" in Berlin hospital where he is treated, the French "Le Figaro" newspaper reported on Friday.
