Kurdistan Prime Minster, Nechirvan Barzani, yesterday received US Ambassador to Iraq Steven Beecroft and his accompanying delegation.

The two sides discussed current situation and latest developments in Iraq and the area. The American Ambassador described the visit by the Region's delegation to Baghdad, to resume negotiations toward calming the situation as positive renewing his country's support for the efforts to solve disagreement and current crisis.

PM Barzani said that Kurdistan Region believes with confidence in peaceful dialogue principle with Iraqi constitution mechanisms.

The U.S Ambassador to Iraq asked about the health of Iraqi President Talabani and expressed his wishes in good health and return safely to the President.
