Massoud Barzani Kurdistan president met Sunday in Kurdistan parliament building with all parliament factions to discuss the relations between Kurdistan Presidency and Parliament and Iraqi current situation.

Only recently, 65 Kurdistani MPs asked the Kurdistan Presidency to bring the national issues into parliament.

Barzani, parliament speaker and head of parliament factions underlined the importance of strengthening the relationship within the region’s branches of powers, Sabah Umed Kurdistan Presidency spokesman told PUKmedia.

They also highlighted the current crises of Iraq and shed light on the possible solutions.

The parliament opposition factions blame the parliament not to play the role it should do as it is a legislative branch.
