The second day of Nawroz has attracted around 90,000 tourists to Kurdistan Region.
This means an increase of 9% from yesterday's figures of 82,000 tourists, according to data released by the Hotels and Restaurants Association.

The turnout is also a a 57% increase compared to last year's peak of 57,000 tourists who visited Kurdistan Region for the Kurdish New Year.

Hotels, motels, and other housings have all been filled with the influx of visitors from other parts of Iraq, neighboring countries and all over the world, the association said.
