Kurdish National Council: Now Syrian Kurds have one political voice
Syrian Kurds now have one political voice and the enthusiasm to gain national rights, said a leader in the Kurdish National Council of Syria.
Abdulhakim Bashar said all political Kurdish parties in Syria are working to obtain Kurdish rights.

“In the past there [was] misunderstanding and distance among Kurdish parties, but now the Kurdish political atmosphere is rectified and is getting better,” he added.

Bashar continued to state that the cruelty against and torturing of Kurds is continuing, with hundreds killed to date.

Syria has witnessed a wave of protests, demonstrations and riots since March 2011, with the aim of ridding the country of President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

According to the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights the total death toll of civilians and military personnel since the start of the Syrian uprising in mid-March last year has now reached 7,673 people.
