Serbian Ambassador to Baghdad Radisav Petrovic , visited on Monday , Foreign Affairs department in Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) , and was received by Minister Falah Mustafa Bakir Head of the department.

The two sides , stressed the need to consolidate bilateral ties between Kurdistan Region and Serbia .

Ambassador Petrovic, for his part , highlighted work and activities of the Serbian Embassy , stressing that his country intends to open a consulate in Kurdistan region in the near future .
