Percussion bomb blast near Turkish PM building injures one person
A percussion bomb exploded near the Turkish prime ministry building in the capital Ankara on Monday, about an hour before a cabinet meeting was due to be held there, and one person was slightly wounded, state TV said.

Police were searching the area for more possible devices, according to Reuters.

The device, which was in a small plastic bottle, went off at around 0730 GMT, 20 meters (yards) from the building in the central Kizilay district, AFP reported.

On Thursday, a remote-controlled bomb injured 15 police officers and one civilian as the blast hit a police minibus passing close to the Istanbul headquarters of Turkey’s ruling AK Party.

Kurdish separatists, Islamist militants -- including al-Qaeda -- as well as groups on the far left and right have all carried out bomb attacks in Turkey, but there was no immediate claim of responsibility and officials said it was too early to say who could be behind the blast.
