In today’s session, the Speaker of Kurdistan Region Parliament Dr. Kamal Kirkuki and his Deputy Dr. Arsalan Baez presented their resignation which was accepted by lawmakers who attended the session .

In same session , lawmakers who attended the session , appointed Dr. Arsalan Baez as new Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament and Dr. Hassan Muhammad was appointed as his Deputy.

A noteworthy to mention, opposition MPs walked out of today’s Parliament session .
