Ruling parties consisting of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) convened on Tuesday with opposition parties consisting of change movement (Goran), Kurdistan Islamic Union and Iraq's Kurdistan Islamic Group in Erbil, the capital city of Kurdistan region.

During the meeting, they discussed a report under the name of “ report of the committee of organizing Kurdish house”, reaffirming the importance of keeping the unity among Kurdistan political factions.

They stressed on providing suitable atmosphere to hold 5-sides meeting among political parties and form Kurdistan parties council.

They also discussed the recent political development in Iraq in general and Kurdistan region in particular.
