Sayed Ammar AL- Hakim Leader of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council and a number of the Iraqi Parliament members , visited on Monday Shingal district and were received by parties officials , district commissioner, heads of government offices , a number of chieftains and clergymen.

Al- Hakim stressed peaceful coexistence and fraternity among different constituents in Shingal , pointing out to the strong relations between the Kurds and the Arabs and their struggle against the former Baathist regime .

He called to spread a message of peace and coexistence from Shingal to Ninawa and all Iraq cities .
