Head of the foreign Affairs Department in Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Falah Mustafa , stressed in a press statement , keenness of KRG on the existence of an Arab and western consulates in Erbil .

Mustafa described Erbil the Capital of Kurdistan Region as Iraq's secured and stable gate.

Currently there are more than 20 consulates and commercial offices here in Erbil , including two Arab consulates of Egypt and Jordan, He said.

the United Arab of Emirates and Palestine as well as a number of western states will open consulates in Kurdistan in the near future , Mustafa clarified.
