An armed terrorist group attacked a car carrying a police colonel named Raed Ali in al- Dorra area in southern Baghdad, a security source told PUKmedia Correspondent.

The colonel was seriously wounded and was taken to hospital for treatment, he added.

Elsewhere in Baghdad , a security source in the ministry of defense told PUKmedia that an explosive charge blast targeted a number of citizens in al- Shuhadaa quarter in western Baghdad.

4 persons were injured in the incident, he added.
