Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, met today with French Ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Durel, to discuss a range of pressing issues affecting the region and Iraq.

The leaders also discussed the urgent need to resume oil exports from the Kurdistan Region, which have been suspended. They highlighted the significant financial impact the halt has had on Iraq’s federal budget and stressed the importance of resolving the issue swiftly.
