PM Masrour Barzani Inaugurates New Road Linking Erbil-Duhok Highway to Highway 120
On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani inaugurated a new road project designed to enhance infrastructure in the region. The new road, stretching three kilometers, connects the main highway between Erbil and Duhok to Highway 120, near the village of Kazna.
During the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Barzani highlighted the significance of the project, emphasizing its role in improving traffic flow. He stated that the road would facilitate smoother transportation by providing a direct connection between Highway 120 and the main Erbil-Duhok route, making travel more convenient for citizens across the Kurdistan Region.
The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to Heman Group, the company responsible for the project's execution, praising its efforts in completing the road with high quality and within a short timeframe. "We are committed to continuing the journey of development and progress in Kurdistan by implementing top-tier projects and addressing the needs of our citizens," Barzani added.
The project is part of the government's ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and ensure better services for the people of the Kurdistan Region.
